Three Ways to Contact MakerGear Support:

1. By Phone:

  • Support: 216-508-4025 (9AM - 4PM EST).*
  • Sales and General Inquiries: 216-765-0030 (9AM - 5PM EST).

2. Submit a support ticket using the orange button on the bottom right-hand corner of your browser. 

3.  Send an email to support@makergear.com.

Please keep your original box and foam. If you need to return your printer to us for any reason and do not have this original packaging, there will be a cost ($100 USD within the US) for us to send a new box and foam out to you.

Email technical support hours are normally Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:00PM ET.

During business hours, we typically respond within 2-3 hours. It can, however, take up to 48 hours to receive a response. Weekend support requests are typically handled on Monday morning. MakerGear technical support is located in Beachwood, Ohio (Cleveland suburb).

MakerGear Support —Prior to contacting MakerGear support, please have the following ready:

  • Your contact information, including email and phone number.

  • Your serial number (located on the back of your printer), your MakerGear order number (if applicable), and the name of the person who registered the printer. 
  • A detailed explanation of the problem you're experiencing. If it is an extrusion problem, include the type/color of the filament you are using, the extrusion temperature, and the software you are using to run the printer. Well-lit, in-focus photos and/or video are very helpful.

Please be aware that we cannot provide support related to extrusion issues if you are using third-party filament.
