MakerGear .35mm Stepper Plastruder Kit for Prusa Mendels

We are very pleased to offer the new MakerGear Stepper Plastruder - everything you need in a plastuder and less. We've helped hundreds of botters with their printing issues and our hot-ends have been field tested and botter approved. Our hot-end technology is now coupled with the Bruthead filament drive and a geared stepper motor to deliver a compact yet tough, reliable, and variable speed plastruder.

Your Stepper Plastruder includes:

Hot-End featuring the MakerGear V3 Hybrid GrooveMount that works great with ABS and PLA, a MakerGear Ceramic HeatCore, a Modular Thermistor Kit, Rubber-Coated Fiberglass Insulation, a 36mm brass barrel (turned down on both ends) and a 0.35mm BigHead Nozzle. (You may want to order additional BigHead Nozzles with various extrusion diameters)
Geared Stepper Motor with 13:6:1 reduction, an 8mm shaft and a removable filament drive gear. Torque and variable speed in a tight, polished package.
Bruthead Filament Drive with a spring mounted bearing for consistent pressure even when filament diameter varies.
Prusa Mount
Does not include a Stepper Driver (available separately on this page)
